We Are Changing!

I look at how far Royal Services has come, and where we are going. Change is inevitable, and with change comes challenges and growth. I would like to take a moment to welcome some of these positive changes to Royal Services.

Ryan Ehred has joined our Operations staff, working in all areas of operations, and learning as he goes. He has mastered from toilets to floor care, focusing on making a GREAT first impression, while realizing the importance of servicing the customer. Craig Carlson has joined our administrative staff, and quite frankly, I'm AMAZED at his IT skills. He gets my ideas and brings them to reality through Excel and Quick Books. Carol Jackson and her company Bits and Pieces, Small Business Solutions is part of the line up as well, as she will be on assignment as sales coordination and fielding sale projects. As you can see, things are rolling and I'm thrilled with what each of them are bringing to the table. Welcome Ryan, Craig and Carol.

We are manned to welcome you as our new partnering business. How can we help you and your staff in making a GREAT first impression?

The Bathroom Diaries

Oh, the stories that I could tell about bathrooms…you wouldn't believe. You may not think this, but if you're a public venue, with washrooms that your patrons use such as a restaurant, CafĂ©, or office building, your washrooms are on the front line when making a GREAT first impression. The subtle things need to be addressed.

One such story, I walked into the men's washroom and what met me at the door...the wonderful fragrance of urine. This was just cleaned a few hours before by Royal Service professionals, so the cleaning was not an issue. If you have this problem, besides the obvious that someone totally missed the urinal, chances are that you should change the urinal block but then also put a lime treatment or bleach down that drain to address the calcium deposits that occur from urine. Simple and yet very effective!

Simple things can be done in-between Royal Services visits to put on your best face with visitors. Periodically check the mirrors, sinks and chrome, they only take a moment to freshen up. Those receptacles in the woman's washroom stalls, DO NOT let them overflow…again, it only takes a moment. An air freshening system is affordable and quite effective. Set the internal timer, and let the device do the work for you. Call Royal Services for the little suggestions, we will be more than happy to make suggestions for easy upkeep in between our visits.
